During
the Foundry's most active period from 1997 - 2003, the band
released two critically acclaimed cd's - World Rattles 'Round
and Give Me A Reason To Live, both on Hollow Body Records.
The band toured up and down the east coast and Midwest playing

Rt. 1 South and sold cd's in the US and abroad including:
England, Italy, Denmark, Madrid, Netherlands, Japan, and Germany.
After
Sept. 11th, Foundry recorded the song "For the Rest of
My Life" as a tribute to the firefighters and police
officers who lost their lives during the attack on the World
Trade Center. The recording features over 50 L.I. firefighters
singing on the chorus and was downloaded over 3,000 times
for a suggested donation towards the Twin Towers Fund, set
up by then Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The song was also posted the
NY air-traffic controller's web site. The song can be downloaded
for free below.
A video
for the band's first single, "It Matters," (from
World Rattle's Round) was shot at an abandoned farm in eastern
Long Island and can be seen at the band's website: http://www.foundryband.com
Additionally,
the song "Before We Say Goodbye," never before released
to the public, is being made available for listening here
and on Foundry's web site. The song was recorded during the
World Rattles 'Round sessions and not used on the album.
We hope

12, 2003- CD IS PROGRESSING!
Personal
note from Doug: Yeah Yeah we know it's late. Very very
very late. I can harbor all the blame for this. Too busy for
anything. Look at our freakin' gig schedule. But, alas, progress
is being made. Things looking good. Have no fear, CD will
be out this year! (Hopefully soon!) This CD should be worth
the wait. Hang in there our friend in Italy! - Doug
